CRASH AND BURN!!!
What a way to spend the morning.
I oversleep and NOT go jogging
(Yes Ka, you may laugh now. xD) and ALMOST woke up late for my driving lesson. My FIRST driving lesson and I'd be late. Haha.
The lesson was for 10.45am, guess who woke up 20 minutes before. xD
Thank goodness the instructor picks you up from wherever, in my case, outside my house. xD
Greg's really nice though. I kept keeping too close to the left, almost missing the parked cars by a little bit, my turning at sharp corners was a little bad. And just to poke fun at me, he made me do a U-turn which led to me going up the curb! HE LAUGHED AT ME! RAWR. Hahaha...
He said he's seen worse though. LOL.
Next lesson I'm gonna be working the accelerator and brakes! WOOH. Hope that goes well. xD
I can't wait! *hypers*
And now to go work on that HORRID Math assignment. YUCKS.
Stupid ANZAC day holiday. So what if it's a public holiday, everywhere's closed! There's no food at the mall, there's no movies to watch, there's no uni to go to
I can't believe I said that! so I can get help on my assignment. Booo.
I'm gonna be so bored at home today. TvT

R.I.P
Rest in peace, my cute little orange linux camera. TvT
Went to Klub Kandy during the Easter break and some dumbass somehow managed to trip over his feet and spill his drink all over me, my handbag and my camera.
Least my clothes were dark, my handbag waterproof but my camera...
Let's just say it's busted. Sigh.
Anyway, some good news!
Third time lucky! I finally have my learners!! Haha..
And I can take my driver's test in October (6 months time), until then, it's lesson time! Yay.

Becoming Jane
Poor Hyein.
We had a girls day out today to cheer Hyein up after we found out her dog of 12 years died of old age yesterday.
So even though Hyein was the only one that wanted to watch "Becoming Jane" at the movies, we went along with it anyway.
Which turned out to be totally hilarious.
Because before the movie started, the preview for "Meet the Robinsons" came on and we burst out laughing at the dinosaur. And Hyein kept bursting into random fits of giggles right before the movie.
And Karin's comment was straight out of "Sixth Sense".
"I see old people."
OMG. How fraking appropriate. Out of everyone in the cinema, excluding us, there were only 4 other young women. The rest were all oldies. XD
Anyway, "Becoming Jane" was pretty interesting, depicting the love life of Jane Austen, although how much of it was true is really debatable; considering they used only letters between Jane and her sister, Cassandra as reference for the romance in the film.
As a woman, I find Jane's decision to leave Tom Lefroy a stupid and respectable decision.
Stupid because she gave up love because she couldn't bear for him to give up everything, and in time destroy his family.
Respectable because she was a very independent woman who stood up for her ideals and refused to listen to anyone else.
I have read Pride and Prejudice before, but it was a long time ago. Xiaogu tried to make me watch the movie but I shrunk away in terror after seeing the number of tapes. HAHA.
Maybe I SHOULD watch it when I go over on Friday night.

300
I just came back from the movies.
Guess which one I watched??
300!! Why? Because Isabel wanted to watch a movie where there were 300 'leng zhais'
And I quote, "I swear I've never seen so many oiled up 6 packs before in my entire life."
LOL.
I have to admit though, the effects were really really awesome.
The violence and slaughter was really well cheoreographed and the Spartan's defence was applaudable.
The monsters and soldiers of the Persian army definitely were a force to be reckoned with!
And PHEW! 300 men defeated them all.
It was only because they were betrayed that they were defeated.
I totally loved the humor sprinkled inside.
How the hell can you talk about being civil when you're standing amidst thousands of bodies and killing what's left of the survivors? Hahaha.
And the part where King Leonidas commented to Daxos about how he had brought more soldiers in comparison to their thousands was pretty hilarious.
But all in all, Isabel was right.
They WERE 'leng zhais'! *drools*
There was Dilios and Astinos, the narrator and the captain's son respectively.
Shame that Astinos died in such a sad way. Shows that you can never relax on the field of battle.
Dilios was funny though, when his eye got taken from him, he commented, "It is ONLY an eye, God graced me with a pair."
300 has definitely made my list of must watch again movies.
Although, right now I'm still wanting to watch TMNT and Spiderman 3. KYAAAAAH.

Lame
Dots.
The stupidest thing I could do this morning was to put salt in my tea.
THAT sure was a good wake up call.
