Yay~
Today was the first class of the Japanese Sword Arts. Pretty interesting I must say~ It was so cold out too.
We were shifted from the Indoor Sports Complex to outside on the Softball Diamond! Like what the hell! LOL. Least next week we'll be inside again. =D
We worked with a
bokuto unfortunately, not a real sword duh. xD Don't want people killing one another first lesson. LOL
So basically we learnt to bow, how to and how NOT to hold a sword, how to show signs of respect, slicing and thrusting. I feel like breaking my mop so I can practice with the handle. xD
Mum called while I was still in uni though. So she interrogated me via sms asking where I was~ So I said, "I joined UQ Sport."
Know what her reply was? "Good to exercise, just study really really really hard."
w00tz! *salutes* Yes ma'am!
