ROBBED


As of 11th August 2006, approximately 2.30pm; 1/23 Finney Road was broken into.

Items stolen were 3 Acer laptops and 1 Nikon camera.

Sigh. Imagine my surprise when Lysha called me at 3pm saying, "Jud, we got robbed."

I was in shock!! I absolutely didn't believe her until she said she was going to report to the police.

I returned home, only to find my room in total chaos. My bed had been overturned, clothes were dug out of my cupboard, boxes in my wardrobe were opened and dug through, drawers were emptied.

They had entered through the back door, cut through the mosquito netting, stuck their hand through the grille and forced the door open. Unfortunately for us, we don't lock the glass door. Easy pickings for them I suppose. Moreso that the back of our house faces an empty scout's camp area. D=

My laptop was taken, surprisingly they didn't take my laptop case, mouse OR my battery. >_>. Fortunately my camera, which was sitting on the floor in front of my cupboard, was either rejected (xD) or missed when they dug out my clothes in a hurry and buried it.

Alvin lost his laptop and some petty cash.
Lysha lost her laptop and a Nikon camera.

Mum scolded me for leaving the door unlocked, and even said the neighbours might have did it. Just because they're Aboriginal. NOT funny mum. I was practically seething at that point in time and wanted to yell at you.

The one thing that hurts the most, is that EVERYTHING of mine was on the computer. Pictures, anime, manga, reference pictures, fanfiction (all my ideas and stories are gone!!), my bookmarks... EVERYTHING!

The police already came yesterday evening to take down our particulars and what had gone missing. The detectives were meant to come later or this morning but... still no one yet.

I slept over at Isabel's because I really just didn't feel like sleeping at home last night. Which is why I can be updating right now.

Laptops can be replaced, but whatever's inside can't.

I'm upset, I'm fuming, I'm fucking pissed. If I ever get my hands on the people who did it, I'm gonna fucking rip your balls off. You hear me!!! I'll fucking kill you!
