Somewhat of a family reunion? haha...
Xiaogu rang me up Saturday night and said, "Can you be at the church tomorrow at 10.15am? It's Nicholas' first communion and confirmation and we put you down as his sponsor."I practically fumbled through my answer and had my auntie chuckling over the phone. Haha... I was too shocked. I mean, what if I already had things planned? But yeah, I agreed. I mean, I hadn't seen Xiaogu, Uncle Al and the kids in probably 2 months?
Venue: St Finbarr's Church Ashgrove
Time: 10.15am
Date: 4th June
Dresscode: Casual smart
Needless to say, I woke up extrememly early but spent an insane amount of time deciding on my day's wardrobe. Settled for a low-cut black collared shirt and a white tank inside. Denim 3 quarts and leather high heeled boots for the bottoms.
I felt extrememly UNDERDRESSED! xD Considering the other parents and sponsors dressed like it was a wedding. LOL. Well, some of them. Haha...
Xiaogu and Uncle Al kept joking about my boots, calling them FMB. I was like O.o huh? It wasn't till we were at Chinatown that they revealed what it was. Fuck Me Boots. Horror of horrors! Mum got those boots from Thailand! (And you all know what kind of place it is too. xD) And then, they started joking that since we were at Chinatown, (which is pretty sleazy) I could be mistaken for a you-know-what. xD I CAN'T BELIEVE XIAOGU AND UNCLE AL ACTUALLY JOKED ABOUT THAT!! I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Hahaha...
But imagine my disgust and horror when I was walking with the kids, some sleazy pervert walked by me and LEERED!! Xiaogu and Uncle Al found that terribly hilarious. Harhar~ (Yes, that is sarcasm in case you don't get it.)
LOL. But, it was great seeing them today. I bought Aaron and Nicholas lego toys from the Chinatown markets. Sneaked it to them when their parents weren't looking. xD
Yay~ Anyway, off to study now. TAT
I hate exams.
