Sashiburi ne~

I am FINALLY getting my butt off my freaking stats notes to finally blog about Canberra.

Estimated amount of time from Brisbane to Canberra and back was about 66 hours (thanks to Wayne)

Left Brisbane at 6pm from Eagle Street Pier. Spent the time on the bus sleeping, reading, playing cards, listening to music and chatting away.

Made a few pit stops along the way. Really tired. Wanted a hot chocolate but it was so freaking expensive... Guess because it was a tourist spot. Bleah~

Mazlan got everyone on the bus to play a secret buddy game. Where everyone had to draw someone's name out of a bag. Whoever you got, you had to write little notes, give gifts or something like that to make them feel loved. I got Vanessa. Lysha got Jamie. >.<

She offered to trade, but I said it was ok. ^^ She wrote Good Morning in Japanese on the first note to him, (courtesy of me of course) wanting to throw him off. Which it did... But that's later on.

Stopped at MacDonalds for breakfast, Uncle Martin bought me a hot chocolate because I said I loved it at the other pit stop. ^^ He's so nice~ That's why I love him. Haha~

We passed through Sydney!! The Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House looked magnificent!!! Didn't get a good picture of the Opera House though... *pout*

Checked into the hotel with Rhonda and Vanessa. Stupid electronic key card wasn't working. Got stuck out of the bloody room for so long. Haha~ Watched Racing Stripes on tv before heading for lunch. Then we went down to Floriade, the flower festival. The flowers looked pretty, and there were buskers! Really really cool!!

And then our guide even had games organised for us!! Looping a key through a string through our belt loops, egg on a spoon race and dragon tail. All girls vs boys. The girls won the first two. But the dragon tail one, the boys totally had us beat!! Unfair... Cos they're so violent.

I won a prize for being the leader of the first two games. A little monkey with a bobbing head. Haha!! ^^

Went back to shower, got ready for the Singapore High Commission thingy. Had a Dikir Barat (choral clapping) practice before hand in our room for the whole bus.

Met three sisters at the High Comm, migrated from Singapore about 3 years back with their family. And they really love it here.

Got back and played a couple of games with the committee.

Next morning, got ready and headed back to the High Comm again for an encore for the Dikir Barat and lucky draws. Our Brisbane group won more then half the prizes!! Hahaha~ There was this really stuck up ch**b** bitch there though. KNNBCCB~ points the third finger and other gestures (what more are there really? haha) LOL~ I know ma, very vulgar, but the b*tch deserves it. *devil horns sprout out*

Went through Sydney again that night, it looked great!! But it was too dark to get a clear picture. Darn!

Had the revealing of the secret buddy. Jamie's sister Kimmie was my buddy! I love her to bits! She gave me rice crackers, chocolate, lollies and a hug from Jamie!! *squee*

Remember how I said Lysha wanted to throw Jamie off?? She did... Jamie thought I was his secret buddy because the note contained "Ohayo Gozaimasu". And since I knew Japanese, he thought it was me...

When he asked, I yelled "NO! Sorry~" from the back of the bus, only to have the rest of the committee echo, "She wouldn't give you just notes~!!" "She'll give you EVEN MORE!!" "Much more!!". It was so embarrassing. So now everyone knew I liked Jamie.

And because Jamie had called me pretending to be my secret buddy in a really fake high pitched voice saying "kjnksjdhgkldsjbglk (i couldn't make that out) kdsjnfkjsd i'd like to meet you in the bathroom again..." Everyone was teasing me, saying "oohhhH~ what were you and jamie doing there ah?" So much so that even Doris-san (Jamie's mum) gave me the green light. XD

Sigh~ Canberra was really fun... And really memorable. ^^ Loved the trip... Totally!
I'll upload the pictures later, trying to get more pics of the sights. ^^

Urgh...

Someone remind me never to
1. Have Aaron and Nicholas over for a sleepover
2. Take Aaron and Nicholas out for a movie
3. Bring Aaron and Nicholas on a bus

*2 big fat giant headaches*

Finally...

Can't believe I haven't been blogging in so long!!
Haha... So many things to say but can't be bothered to. XD

I'm hooked onto hot chocolate right now. The taste is just chocolate-y!! It's brilliant! And the melted marshmallows?? Mm-mm! Too bad it costs between $3 to $3.50 per cup... Damn.

Aaron and Nicholas are staying over at my place from Sunday night to Tuesday evening. They've got some RAP movement program going on at uni, so Xiao Gu thought it would be more convenient if they bunked over at my place so I could bring them there and back. I don't mind.

Only disadvantage for me is that I can't study in my room. The lights would bother them, then they would start talking, I can't concentrate and I get cranky. Haha...

Canberra this Friday! Oh my god! I seriously can't wait!! Woohoo~!!!

Awesome weekend!!

Friday - Group study at my friend's house followed by a sleepover in preparation for my MATH2000 mid-semester exam. Parents weren't too happy though... *pouts*
Never study not happy, got study also not happy. Sighh...

Saturday - Paintball skirmish!!! Totally awesome day man!! It was fun, but a painful experience as well. I've got 5 bruises all over me, but they ain't as bad as Luke's. Hahaha...

The stupid bus was late though. Got to sit behind Jamie on the bus to skirmish and sat next to him on the trip back. >.< Heehee... We were playing a category game that goes like this. Someone decides on a category and everyone takes turns naming something from that category. Eg... Sea creatures... So starfish, whale, etc... And if you can't think up of an object/thing in the given time limit, you're given a letter that is part of a word... COW. Hahaha...

Super fun!! We all jumped into the pool at the Manor's after we got back from skirmish. Rhonda, Ju-Anne, Robbie, Luke, Gideon, Anthony, Jamie and I. Borrowed one of Rhon's bikini's and I was ready to jump in!! Woohoo!! Only problem was that the water was freaking cold!! >.<

And I got pushed in 3 times by Jamie, thrown in once by Gideon and shot at with a water gun. Gideon totally picked me up and threw me over his shoulder before tossing me in. It was scary but totally fun!!

Sunday - Totally boring day compared to yesterday. Haha... Studied some more for my mid-sem, waited for my mum's call etc..

I CAN GO TO CANBERRA!!! THANK YOU MUM AND DAD!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!

Monday - Oh my god... I'm seriously aching all over right now. I was putting on Yoko Yoko when I realised my thighs were smaller and my arms had muscles... O.O *gawks*

HOLY SHIT!! Time to start gymming to keep this body!! XDD

To go or not to go... That is the question to be answered

It seems that Uncle Martin and Auntie Christine are planning to go to Canberra to visit the High Commission of Singapore (or something like that) on behalf of the Singapore International Foundation and asked the Singapore students if they would like to join them.

Students from all over Brisbane from the 3 universities: UQ, QUT and Griffith have been invited to join them. (Although we know not many would.)

And because we're in committee, we get first dibs on the information...

It's $120 for 4 days 3 nights (the first weekend of the school holidays 23-26 September), transport and accomodation included. It's the chance of a lifetime to see Canberra at a relatively cheap price, safety included seeing everyone's with friends and the Gomes' are chaperoning. To see the sights, meet the High Commission and get to know my friends better. After all, what's staying in Australia if you don't go around Australia?

But now the question to answer is, "Mum, Dad, may I go on this Canberra trip?"
